Kyler Kirk

Kyler Kirk is a research associate at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. Kirk is a graduate of Columbia University with a bachelor's degree in financial economics. His research interests include monetary transmission mechanisms, flow of funds, financial institutions, income distributions and unemployment indicators.

As a second-year associate, Kirk has collaborated with several economists at the Richmond Fed, primarily Chen Yeh, Bruno Sultanum and Russell Wong. He has supported projects that examine U.S. firm and bank behavior, with an emphasis on the COVID-19 crisis; financial frictions; bank reserves, lending and regulation; and sovereign default swaps.
